Saturday, March 24, 2018. A trip to China! Eve and I traveled to China over my spring break, spending 5 days in Shanghai and 4 in Beijing. Making Shanghai Soup Noodles! In Bejing we went to Love Linen People, located in the hutongs. The 798 Art Zone was a really interesting place. And, of course, The Great Wall and The Forbidden City were amazing. Siempre he dicho que en Patchwork las colchas más sencillas suelen ser maravillosas, y el otro día, ojeando una revista japonesa vi esta foto. Me encantan las fotos que aparecen en las revistas tanto de diseñadores como de quilters donde se ve, detrás de ellos, un montón de colchas. Siempre intentó descubrir qué block es el predominante, cómo están hechas y me fijo mucho en el colorido.
Monday, April 2, 2018. A new month, a new goal. I have two quilt retreats that I am attending later this month, so my One Monthly Goal is going to an easy one. I like my Foothills top so much that I decided to add two more rows to make it more usable. I had to order a little more of my sashing fabric to have enough for the new rows. Then I decided I would add a border, so I had to order even more.

No sabía cómo sería el embarazo después de un aborto, pero no me lo esperaba como estaba siendo. Fue un golpe de realidad tan brutal que mi mente no concebía el embarazo. Cuando recibes la noticia del embarazo. Puedo gestionar fácilmente la culpabilidad. Sé que es un sentimiento, no una realidad y me resulta muy fácil decir que no necesito.
